The following is a breakdown of the Application Criteria for Top Model 2025 along with general notes of what applicants should expect during the application process. Please e-mail us with any questions or to request a PDF of the Entry Terms & Conditions.
Top Model is a professional model search competition and shows and has various commitments that finalists are required to adhere to.
UK model search applicants must be female and aged 14 years or over OR male and aged 18 years or over before 20th September 2025.
Worldwide model search applicants can be female or male and aged 18 years or over before 20th September 2025.
Selected Finalists must be able to attend the finals in London in September 2025 and attend the relevant Fittings & Rehearsals day beforehand.
Top Model is a model search awards and not a beauty pageant. Full professional training, coaching and media support is provided with a professionally produced runway show finals. It is FREE TO APPLY to be considered as a Top Model finalist.
During the application process, a panel of industry professionals will regularly produce a short-list of the best applicants.
These best applicants will either be invited to attend an official Selection Panel interview OR be asked to provide further information. A short video clip of the Applicant and the Applicant walking may be requested at this stage of the decision making process OR the Applicant might be asked to provide further images OR be offered a place solely based on the Application Form information OR be invited to ‘live’ auditions.
The Top Model 2025 Finalists will be chosen from the short-listed applicants by a Selection Panel.
Finalists will be selected on a number of criteria, including strong overall potential, a good look and general presentation. There are five competition categories for Top Model 2025: Editorial (ages 14 to 19 and 20 to 29), Commercial (ages 14 to 25), Men (ages 18 to 29), Over 25’s (26-35 and 36+) and Worldwide (ages 16-29). Top Model will allocate finalists to a specific category, once they are confirmed as a finalist.
Finalists (not applicants) are required to fund a minimum charity donation (Place Sponsorship) of just £150 to confirm their place as a TOP MODEL 2025 finalist, once selected and offered a place. The Place Sponsorship is paid direct to the charity and can be funded through one source or multiple sources and can be from individuals, professional organisations, companies, local businesses, groups of friends, family etc OR a Finalist can fund it themselves. The Place Sponsorship is to help cover a proportion of the costs associated with a finalists participation (similar to a charity parachute jump or marathon where there is a minimum amount that a participant has to raise/pay etc) and is paid direct to the charity as a charity donation.
In addition, each finalist agrees to raise a minimum of £100 charity fundraising to support the official Top Model charity through the Top Model Finalist Profile pages which the charity will build on behalf of all finalists through the Just Giving platform.
Each selected Finalist is required to sell or purchase a minimum of Four (4) tickets of any ticket value to the Top Model 2025 finals show that the finalist is appearing, in order to provide further support for the charity and to ensure an equal and fair minimum level of support for all finalists.
